Creating Opportunities Through Volunteering with Bradford District Museums & Galleries and SkillsHouse

Voices For Change CIC supported individuals in securing meaningful volunteer placements at Cartwright Hall and Bolling Hall, providing them with valuable hands-on experience in professional and cultural settings.

Volunteers gained practical workplace skills by working in the art gallery café and supporting Arts Council England’s audience research and visitor surveys. These placements enabled individuals to build confidence, develop transferable employability skills, and gain insight into working within the arts and heritage sector.

Through these opportunities, participants strengthened their CVs, expanded their experience, and took positive steps towards future education, training, and sustainable employment.
